B.Tech. is a bachelor’s degree program that students can join after passing their 10+2 exams in a relevant field. At Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), the fees for B.Tech. can vary depending on the specialization chosen. IGNOU only offers Construction Management as a specialization for B.Tech., and the cost for this course is INR 25,000 per semester.
To join this course, students need to have completed a three-year diploma in fields like chemical, civil, mechanical, electrical, computer engineering, or architecture. They also need relevant work experience or be self-employed. This course has different requirements compared to traditional B.Tech. programs.

You need to pay the annual fee for the program. For example, the first-year tuition fee for B.Tech is Rs. 15,000, and for the following three years, it’s Rs. 45,000 each. You don’t have to wait for the university to contact you before paying the fee for the final year; you must pay the full amount along with your completed application. This rule applies to other specializations too. In the last year of your B.Tech, the Regional Director will give you a program re-registration form and instructions. If you don’t get the form, you can contact your Regional Centre.
