The online MCA course IGNOU program is a three-year program costing Rs. 72,000 as a whole. Mainly it is designed to cater to students leaving the program with adequate preparation for a prosperous career in either the software industry or academia. The fee structure is designed on a six-semester basis amounting to Rs. 12,000. In case one finds it difficult to pay the entire amount of Rs. 72,000 at once, one is free to pay Rs. 12,000 per semester.
Eligibility Criteria
Bachelor's Degree
Entrance to IGNOU online MCA requires a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of three years of study from a recognized university. Mathematics must have been studied either at 10+2 schooling level or during the Bachelor’s degree. In case it has not been studied at either, BCS-012 has to be passed concurrently with the MCA program. If you have done Mathematics earlier, then BCS-012 is not a prerequisite to the mathematics courses. IGNOU follows a Credit System wherein every credit is equivalent to 30 hours of study time. Thus, a four-credit course requires a total of 120 hours of study time.
